The Bing Cancer Center located on the Riverside Hospital Campus was the largest project in the OhioHealth system in 2012. O’Brien Robinson Construction was selected over 6 other Construction Managers to deliver this project from “concept to completion”. The project included demolition and remodel of over 58,000 sq/ft of the building. Calculated scheduling allowed for the displacement of tenants one at a time during construction. The 5-story atrium was remodeled to include a multi-story water feature new glass railings and stone and wood accents from floor to ceiling. Extreme cosmetic updates and renovations were done to the exterior façade of the building adding stone columns, new landscaping, new remodeled entry canopy, drive-isle area and building signage. The Bing Cancer Center has placed OhioHealth at the top of the Health Systems servicing the needs of cancer patients in this region.
