New Albany Presbyterian Church is a beautifully designed church that fit’s perfectly into the New Albany community. The architectural intent of the Church was to have the appearance of a “country” Church that was built many years ago and has been added onto over the years. Exterior materials include brick, lap siding, operable windows, arches and many wood details. The interior layout includes a large Sanctuary that will seat approximately 300, offices, education wing, large Narthex, kitchen and well appointed rest rooms. O’Brien Robinson interviewed and was selected very early in the process to work closely with the Building Committee and the Architects through design to ensure that the cost for the Church was in line with the design and the budget. Following the permit process, O’Brien Robinson performed the construction as “open book—cost plus” contract. The project has been a huge success and will stand the test of time in the New Albany Community.
