The Robotic Surgery Expansion at the Dublin Methodist Hospital (DMH) is a critical project that defines the DMH as a premier surgical hospital in this region. The project included the conversion of approximately 7,318 s/f of area on the 2nd floor surgical department, adding OR-8 Surgery Suite. This phase of work also included the addition of new roof top air handling unit to service the new OR Rooms. Phase2 included a 1,625 s/f addition of space over the first floor roof as well as remodeled areas. This area includes another OR Room as well as offices, locker rooms and other prep and clean linen areas. O’Brien Robinson and their subcontractors worked 2-shifts, 7-days a week to accomplish the timeline set-forth by OhioHealth. The work area is a Level-4 infection control area and requires 100% negative air in the areas of work. This challenging project has proven that O’Brien Robinson can handle the toughest of projects.
