O’Brien Robinson was the Construction Manager for the expansion/renovation at Bexley United Methodist Church, located in Bexley, OH. O’Brien Robinson was engaged at the very beginning of the project to work with the Philip Markwood Architects and Building Committee with cost estimating, constructability and scheduling to ensure that design met budgetary goals. Once design was complete, O’Brien Robinson bid out the project established a GMP with the owner while using a Cost Plus (open book – transparent) contractual agreement. Given the confidence with the plan, budget and direction, the Committees were able to continue to raise capital needed for the project.
